HIDAL was promoted for implementation of projects sanctioned by Department of Industrial Policy & Promotion (DIPP), Ministry of Commerce & Industry, Government of India under Industrial Infrastructure Up-gradation Scheme (IIUS) and development and implementation of Infrastructure projects mainly in Haldia region.
